I should clarify.  I have built an LFS system as the book dictates then
tarred it up, put it on a cd and used slackware boot disks to partition,
untar, and chroot into the lfs system on a new machine.

I think the closest you could come is to use Slackware boot disks with loads
of utilities but i'm not sure.  I have used slackware bootdisks to install
my LFS system on a new machine.

Hey all,,just got the book and all software to install LFS. I am curious
do i really need a Distro pre installed or is there a way to prepare this
totally from gound zero. ie, fresh hard drive.
