On Monday 22 January 2001 19:38, Torsten Westermann babbled:
> gcc -O3 -mcpu=k6 -march=k6 -Wall -Werror -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I.. -I./include
                                   ^^^^^^^
See that?

I'm tired of seeing this question asked over and over again. Just remove the
- -Werror from the Makefile and try again. The -Werror flag makes the
compilation halt on every warning it encounters.

Hey, FAQ-person, how about putting this in the FAQ?
