apologise for a of topics, but I hope someone can help me. I would like to cut
out couple of minutes from an avi movie file cause it doesn't fit the CD. To
do that I installed Adobe Premiere 6.5 demo (I have been told, it should be
the best) but it claims that the movie is in unknown codec.
The mplayer can play it easily and says following about the file.
Detected AVI file format!
MainAVIHeader.dwFlags: (2064) HAS_INDEX TRUST_CKTYPE
VIDEO: [MP43] 320x240 24bpp 20.00 fps 402.8 kbps (49.2 kbyte/s)
[V] filefmt:3 fourcc:0x3334504D size:320x240 fps:20.00 ftime:=0.0500
Detected audio codec: [mp3] drv:1 (MPEG layer-2, layer-3)
mp3lib: Processor ID: 662
mp3lib: Using Pentium-MMX optimized decore.
AUDIO: srate=48000 chans=2 bps=2 sfmt=0x10 ratio: 12000->192000
Detected video codec: [divxds] drv:4 prio:0 (DivX ;-) (MS MPEG-4 v3))
fs seg 0x40056000
Loading DLL: 'divx_c32.ax'
Using DirectShow codec: divx_c32.ax
Decoder is capable of YUV output ( flags 0x1f)
Please give me some advice what to use to cut out the stuff from the movie.
Many thanks and again sorry for OT.
