Finally got around to sorting out an inputrc on my LFS box
yesterday. /etc/inputrc is not the default location, which is ~/.inputrc ,
so you need `export INPUTRC=/etc/inputrc' in .bash_profile. Maybe you lost
this in moving to the new LFS ?
Out of the darkness a voice spake unto me, saying "smile, things could be
worse". So I smiled, and lo, things became worse.
