Hi friends,

I tried to compile gnome-libs-1.4.2 and got an error during compilation that says:

In file included from gnome-metadata.c:67:
/usr/include/db_185.h:171: parse error before `*'
/usr/include/db_185.h:171: warning: data definition has no type or storage class
gnome-metadata.c: In function `init':
gnome-metadata.c:177: warning: assignment from incompatible pointer type
make[2]: *** [gnome-metadata.lo] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/user/gnome-libs-1.4.2/libgnome'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/user/gnome-libs-1.4.2'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

As far as I unterstand, the output means that there is a problem in den file /usr/include/db_185 that belongs to berkley db3 and its db1- compatibility.

Anyone knows, what to do?
