No sound.

I had done that and had submitted the result on the List. It seems you 
missed that somehow. Jeremy Byron had responded to that.

However, the 'good news' is that the problem is  almost over. xmms produces 
music when loged-in as 'root' but NOT as ordinary user.
How can that be set ok?
