 If you have lsof,
root at bluesbreaker /home/ken #lsof -p `ps -C dbus-daemon | tail -n 1 | awk '{print $1 }'`

 On this (LFS, for once) system, /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket - I
don't see anything unusual in cblfs which would cause it to use
/tmp.
