[blfs-support] python2 AND python3 in /usr question

I use blfs and
I have often installed python3 (needed for example for blender ) in say
/opt/python. I noticed lately blfs has python3 in /usr.
( http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/general/python3.html )

I would like to know

---A) if this poses any problems to be ensamble with phython2.7 (
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/general/python2.html - i.e.
also in /usr) ?

--B) if /etc/profile has an entry such as the foll:-

export PYTHONDOCS=/usr/share/doc/python-2.7.6:/usr/share/doc/python-3.3.3/html

if the two versions of python are installed in /usr ?

thanks in advance
