Hi Bruce,

Some additional "experiments".

1.) Just trying to go through, I did "make" instead of "make -j1".

The result was different, but structural similar to the original one. The
compilation breaks at 61% instead of 92%.

/opt/kde/include/kgenericfactory.h:152:22: Anmerkung: hier deklariert
 class KDE_DEPRECATED KGenericFactory : public KGenericFactoryBase<Product>
[ 61%] Linking CXX shared module ../../../../lib/plasma_engine_calendar.so
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lakonadi-calendar
collect2: Fehler: ld gab 1 als Ende-Status zurück
die Regel für Ziel „lib/plasma_engine_calendar.so“ scheiterte
make[2]: *** [lib/plasma_engine_calendar.so] Fehler 1
CMakeFiles/Makefile2:29649: die Regel für Ziel
make[1]: ***
Fehler 2
Makefile:138: die Regel für Ziel „all“ scheiterte
make: *** [all] Fehler 2

2.) I mounted the new BLFS partition in /mnt and compiled kde-
workspace-4.11.21 according to the actual book from an older partition,
equiped with kde-libs, pim, pimlibs etc. 4.14.1. There were no problems, the
compilation went through smoothly!

3.) in a second pc, same system as my first one, I built also
workspace-4.11.21 without problems.

Any ideas ?

And a dumb question: could I install the workspace compiled under 2.) out from
the BLFS partition ?
